耶穌基督是生命之主，更是工作生活之主。適逢2021年勞動節，香港天主教勞工事務委會及香港基督教工業委員會聯合呼籲香港教會，以以下禱文為本港勞工多方禱告，求主垂憐。
啟：全能仁慈之主，在2021年香港經濟衰退逆境中，我們為本港勞工及其家庭祈禱。
應：求主垂聽我們的禱告！
啟：請為面對失業及就業不足的勞工家庭祈禱。求主眷顧、安慰與支持失業工友，使他們能渡過難關。亦求主引領有關當局，為勞工階層提供適切與及時的失業援助，協助他們能有尊嚴地面對經濟困境。為此，我們同聲祈禱。
應：求主垂聽我們的禱告！
啟：請為維持家庭基本生活需要而奔波勞碌，工資卻僅足糊口的基層工友祈禱。求主注視他們辛勤的工作，並賜予合理工資與家庭生活。亦求主引領有關當局，制定合理生活工資，讓工人及其家庭的基本生活獲得保障。為此，我們同聲祈禱。
應：求主垂聽我們的禱告！
啟：請為在新冠肺炎疫情下因工不幸受感染的工友祈禱。求主醫治賜予康復的身體，並讓他們能早日重投工作。亦求主引領有關當局，將新冠肺炎納入可補償職業病類別，減輕染病工友頓然失去健康與工作的巨大精神壓力。為此，我們同聲祈禱。
應：求主垂聽我們的禱告！
啟：全能仁慈之主，求你開啟我們的心靈，多加關注工人所面對的不義處境；又燃起我們的愛火，身體力行為有需要的勞工階層提供援助；又藉我們的工作參與上主的創造工程，使每個人的勞動尊嚴更趨完善，獲得滿全生命。
眾：這都是靠著我們主耶穌基督的憐憫而求。阿們/阿孟。
Ecumenical Prayer on Labour Day 2021
Jesus Christ is the Lord of life and of labouring. On labour day this year, both Hong Kong Catholic Commission for Labour Affairs and Hong Kong Christian Industrial Committee pledge together for the sincere prayer of the Church for the working class in Hong Kong.
Leader: Lord of might and mercy, during the economic recession of Hong Kong in 2021, we pray for Hong Kong workers and their families.
All: Hear our prayer, O Lord.
Leader: Please pray for the unemployed and under-employed and their families. We pray for God's providence to and comfort and support of the unemployed, so that they could overcome their difficulties. We pray for God's guidance of the Government to provide workers proper and timely unemployment assistance and help the workers in decent to go through their economic burdens.
For this, we pray together.
All: Hear our prayer, O Lord.
Leader: Please pray for the grassroots workers who work hard for the basic livings of their families but their income could only afford for a hand-to-mouth existence. Lord, we pray for your blessings upon workers' heavy labouring and reward them reasonable living wage so that their livings and the livings of their families are well protected.
For this, we pray together.
All: Hear our prayer, O Lord.
Leader: Please pray for the workers who are infected by the COVID-19 virus. Lord, heal them and grant them recovery so that they could resume their works. Guide the Government to release the burdens, physical and mental, of the workers due to their sicknesses by the way of listing the COVID-19 as an occupational disease.
For this, we pray together.
All: Hear our prayer, O Lord.
Leader: Lord of might and mercy, open our eyes to see the unjust sufferings facing workers today. Fire us with compassion that we can offer support to the workers in need. Kindly admit our labouring into your holy creation so that our works could be transformed to move towards perfection and full dignity, and through our works, the fullness of life could be realized in our lives.
We pray in the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
